PHOTO EXHIBITION CUM FUND RAISING PROGRAM.

Every Year RTYC Rohini organizes a cultural tour to different tibetan settlements to raise fund and also to promote and preserve the rich tibetan Culture and tradition. But this year in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Tibet who are suffering inhumane treatment due to harsh Chinese policies. Rather we went for a photo exhibition on Tibetan Youth Activism to create awareness about Tibetan People's struggle among the Indian and foreign public. All the executive members and few voluntary members carried out the project during the autumn break of Delhi University colleges. We held our exhibition during the Teachings of his holiness in deharamsala from 2nd to 4th october infront of Tsuglak Khang. We had a very good response from Indian, other foreigneer especially chinese and ofcourse the Tibetan public who had came for the teaching. We were able to raise a good amount of fund with collective contribution from public, monastries,hotels,TCV schools etc. We stayed at dharamsala till 8th october and on 9th we divided into two groups one to cover Bir, Chauntra and nearby settlement and the other group to cover dehradun and Mussoorie. We were able to raise fund from all the settlement with great support and appreciations from the public for our hard work. We retured to our hostel on 15 th october as from 16th our colleges starts.
We pledge to continue the struggle with the same zeal and energy and do whatever in our capacity to highlight the issue of tibet and to unite the Tibetans.
